Not every iConnectData user is intended to perform every task. Documentation for card maintenance states that editable information depends on the user’s access level, while current homepage documentation describes additional administrative capabilities for appropriately authorized users.
What an access problem can look like
A user may be able to:
- view an item but not edit it;
- access one function but not another;
- work with one organizational context but not another.
That does not automatically indicate an outage.
Avoid the wrong troubleshooting path
Before treating a missing button or unavailable field as a defect, ask:
- Is the correct user signed in?
- Is the correct account context selected?
- Is the function available to this role?
- Is the function limited by the product configuration?
Administrative access should follow operational responsibility
Permissions are not merely a convenience setting. They can determine who can alter operational records or perform certain account actions.
Organizations should manage access through their established administrative and provider-supported processes.
